This series would be placed in Barrett’s aesthetically evaluative category. The windows of Superior are beautiful and worthy of consideration. Shape, texture and line are the important design elements in these images. Repetition of rectangles creates frames within frames. Visual texture is particularly rich and varied in the first image due to the angle of the light. In each photo, the contrast between the strength of the vertical, parallel lines of the windows and the unstable, unstructured lines of decay create interest.
